Amp head/cab suggestions

I have an idea. I both love the Slash/Marshall Tone with les pauls, and the old british tone of Vox/ClassA british tone. For now, i wont to put together a good Amp Head/Cab.

Suggest to me some good Class A Amp heads?? I was thinking of the Peavey Classic 30W?

And i'm kinda drawn on the Cab. Either 4X12inch Celestion blues, or do you all thinkg 2x12 greenbacks + 2x12 Celestion 30's?

Sorry i havent been around here much, in IN perth ( Australia ) and dont have the net at home anymore
But i am alive, and have a net connection at work!

Definatly go with the greenbacks+v 30's, as for a head try the
Crate Blue Voodoo (BV-120), i got the discontinued BV-120HR running 4x12 V30's, and the damn thing smokes, they're pretty cheap as well so it's easy on the wallet

the C30 is a good amp and i use it a fair bit... i have the combo.. it will do the 60's sound great..... but the Slash sound i don't think is in this amp.... not enough balls

Marshall AND Vox from the same amp is a tough one.

Perhaps one of the Laney class A channel switchers?

As for the speakers, I feel a good sealed back 2x12 is great for a 30 watter. I'd look at an Avatar cab with a pair of Eminence Red Fangs to coax some more sparkle and snarl out of a Vox-like amp.

Hey guys, i will be getting 2 seperate amps/cabs, one 'marshal' the other 'voxish'! Sorry for the confusion!! THE voxish one i willbe buying first, the Marshall one i'm buying after i get my Les Paul.
So. For the Voxish, can you get a 50/100W class A? or it doesnt work like that? I'm thinking, depending on the wattage, either 4 30W celestion blues/golds.
When i get the marshall, it will be 2XGreen backs and 2X Vintage 30's.

The only class A amp i've seen over 40 watts is the 60 watt Ashdown head. I don't know how vox like it'll be. If you're getting two amps, just get an AC30 CC head with the speaker cab of you're choice. As far as the Marshal, I played a JCM800 50 watter reissue that was petty friggin' cool through the standard 1960 cab.

hmmmm thats true. I'm thinking a 30W Ac30CC head, with a 2X12 cab (2Xcelestion golds) . And i am leaning towards the JCM800 aswell, with a 2+2 12 ( 2 celestion 30's, greenbacks). Wouldnt mind a nice Fender Combo either ( not a head/cab, but just a tube combo)
