If you guys read my other thread , this is in addition to it. I finally traced all the noise to just my amplifier.

After fooling and fooling with it and finally just cranking it up, hear is what is happening.

I still have the hissing noise thta my hush won't stop, the hush has to be turned WAY farther up than normal to even stop the little bit of noise that it soes now and my amp is making this weird, slight flanging or phasing sound with no effects on it!

I also just discovered that my friend, dropped it while hleping me unload from my last gig!

Re: Amp help!!!!

He's a real klutz, I live with him so everyt time I come home he always helps , but I usually make sure I grab the head.

Well this time I got the head out of the car and sat it on the side walk. I have it in one of those Marshall padded cases with wheels on it.

It was standing up on it's side and when he grabbeb the top real fast trying to be real cool the bottom with the wheels just went out from under it and he dropped the top.

Re: Amp help!!!!

how are you runnnig the noise unit? in front or in the effects loop? if in front, it wont get rid of tube noise.

Re: Amp help!!!!

It's in the loop, I 've been fooling with it the last few days , taking the rack in and out of the loop, using the wireless and using a cable, and there is definately something wrong !

The only thing that is tied into everything would be the Furman. I moved it to a new spot in the rack and I don't know if it is causeing a ground loop or not, but I am gonna fool with the whole thing tommorow. I still think it is the amp though/
