I'll have to see if I can find an orange in somewhere to try. I had a rockerverb 100 that I loved but had to sell.

The Mustang III is good, loud, versatile but a bit harsh sounding. A friend recently got a Boss Katana 2x12...not a bad sound in it. The single 12 is probably worth a try, though I believe it lacks some of the nicer features of the twin ( fx loop?)

I would be on the lookout for a used 60w Crush60 with the 12" speaker, or if you have a cab, the 120w head.

I believe once you go Orange you will never look back. If you are looking for an amp that is made to be an amp. I am not one for all the synthesized sounds that some of the amp company's are making, you are paying for that. The quality of their amps themselves are built cheaply IMO. And as far of the quality of the speakers are producing are not that good. I choose to use pedals to get other sounds I am looking for. I am referring to those amps in the 50 watt class Katana 50 Blackstar ID series, Cube as I had tried out many amps in this class and the Orange Crush 35 RT won by a landslide also including the price.

My Klon, Korg SDD-1000, Providence delay and everything else just sit on my pedalboards unused. I don't need them.
The 12" Celestion speaker that comes with the Mustang sounds great! If the amp died someday I'd remove that speaker and use it in something else.
