My comments so far -

First, I think the sportsmanship was excellent. Basically, nothing but love for the axes you loved. Very civil.

Second, I think that I made a good selection. I didn't really receive any complaints. I tried to pick the really outstanding guitars and give a good mix.

A lot of you guys have a number of truly stunning axes and could win three or four places all by yourselves! Some of your axes may have a chance to play in multiple categories - so hang in there. You know we'll be seeing Gamera's strat potentially up against Jolly' Tobacco or teal quilt later on...

So, sit back, maybe take some better pics, and enjoy the eye candy! Lot's more categories to come, plus the finals - and perhaps a playoff round.

Will it perhaps come down to the Old Dear vs Amber in the end? Who knows.

I'm honestly stunned at some of the pointies. You see a ton of LP leg, and lots of Strat. But Pointy threads are rare - haven't seen that much jaggedy goodness in one spot ever here. I'm really surprised at the awesomeness.
