I picked this up Monday off the HAMER forum....its a 1998 Hamer Californian.


USA made

Alder body

3 piece maple neck...bolt on

Ebony fretboard with MOP boomerang inlays

27 frets

Limited edition iridescent swirl finish

Active EMG pickups with mid boost

Schaller Floyd


This guitar is factory stock. The neck is medium slim. I love the tone of these EMGs on this guitar..its shedolishious!!!

Now that is very, very nice! I would personally switch the SPC to a tone or a second volume control, but all in all that guitar is pure class.

From the headstock photo with the serial #, I think that guitar was built in 1989. Simple swap of a couple of digits.

Nice score, Brentrocks! These Californians are fantastic guitars. The iridescent finish is sharp.
