If so ants have dun-aged a2 magnets in them, both the bridge and the neck. A5 bridge a2 or a3 neck is a great mod on them tho! But it ain't standard.

so are 8.6 and 8.18 the real readings of the pups or are 8.7/8.6?

I know this has been asked a lot but ... Where do you get A3 magnets?
I got some A5s and A2s from Torres Engineering ... but no A3s.
Is there a major thread with PU magnet swap results becasue I'd love to read it and I have a few experiments results of my own.
dr.barlo said:If you can get hold of Steven Kersting, he sells a2's a3's and a5's. For a4's contact Lew, and see if he has some left. He got them from Fralin by the popular demand from this forum. A very cool move indeed.

I like the way they sound, so the story sort of ends here I guess! The rest will remain a mystery - unless anyone has more insight?
