Re: Any FUZZ-fans among us ? (Voodoolab Superfuzz)
I tried one a few months back and was woefully underwhelmed by it. Overall I got the impression that it's another take on an Octavia, but the Voodoo Protavia is a WAY hipper & much more "usable" pedal.
It sounds rather ideal while I kept mucking with the Blender to get something that wasn't too horrible, and when I did get something out of it that I liked...it kinda sounded like an imitation of the Proc. The blend was a little weird...I'm not sure I have an application for totally clean guitar with octave-up fuzz on top or "under" the clean tone.
Maybe if I had spent more time with it, but I recall giving it a good half-hour or 45 minutes before giving up all hope...
Who knows though, you might love it!?
Anyone else know anything about the Fender Blender ?
