Fell in love with this at the store earlier. Was only $180. How’d i do?

Anyone know what brand or model this is?

Back of headstock says headstock is licensed to ernieball. It appears to be asian, so i doubt i hit the lotto.

I’m very happy w/ it, though!!

Thanks, man! Looks like i did fair. I like it, so to me it was a good score. I got it with a giftcard. I’m officially out of room for any more guitars though :)

OLP MM1. $180 is good buy. Especially if it's in
really good shape. You like it, that's what really
matters. Enjoy!

Nice!! Is the back of the neck finished or bare wood with oil on it?

Re: Any idea what brand/model guitar this is?

Thanks guys! Guitar shows some wear but is nice. Gonna bring it to my repairman and have the pups swapped to an extra air norton tonezone set i have sitting here, eager to be put in something.

The neck is finished

Thanks, guys!

I noticed—- no truss rod cover at the headstock... the heel looks like it has some sort of a gear. Does anyone know what this type of adjuster is called and what sorta tool i need to adjust it?

Neh, noticed 2 buzzing frets today. Trying to decide if it’s worth putting the money into it to have the frets leveled. My gut is telling me to do it, my brain is telling me not to.

Could just raise the action but i like it low as is. It’s not like i plan on recording with this guitar. Might just leave it.

Re: Any idea what brand/model guitar this is?

It's worth a fret level if if needs it. The truss rod adjusts from the heel via that large black dingus.

I wonder if a licensed EB Music Man guitar includes that awesome MM Asymmetrical Neck Profile too.

-if it does what a extra win that guitar would be!

Re: Any idea what brand/model guitar this is?

Yeah, i’m thinking i’ll spring on the fret level. Not sure about the neck profile but it feels good to me.

Re: Any idea what brand/model guitar this is?

TS, gaze down the back of the neck long ways -does it appear meatier/thicker on the palm side "Low E" and thinner like a C on the finger "High E" side?

Can’t really tell. I’m not extremely picky about neck profiles. Seems fine to me, whatever it is

Re: Any idea what brand/model guitar this is?

Decided to drop it off to have the pickups swapped to an extra air norton/ tone zone set i had sitting around. The guy installing them is also gonna level the frets...

Looking forward to trying it after the enhancements. Gonna be a week.

Re: Any idea what brand/model guitar this is?

Holy freakin crap. I had the frets leveled and had the extra AN/TZ combo i had sitting around installed. This guitar looks, feels and sounds like a million bucks (ok at least $2000-$3000). I can’t believe i got this thing for $180 + $200 worth of parts (which were sitting idle anyway) and work. I’m thrilled.

Re: Any idea what brand/model guitar this is?

I did the math and including the value of the pickups (though didn’t cost anything to me because the were laying around from another guitar), labor, and the guitar itself, it has about $500 worth of initial value, parts and work to get it where is at today.

It feels and sounds like a $2,000 guitar, but the unfortunate factor is if i ever wanted to sell it, i’d be very lucky to get $250-$300.

Fortunately for me, the way it is, it is one of my favorite guitars and i do not see me ever parting w/ it.

Amazing guitar and because i already had the pups and my tech gave me a deal on all the work, i’m only in it $290 total. Feeling lucky and blessed

Congrats, man! Those guitars are nice players and full of potential. I'm so glad you're happy with the results and its nice to see a "budget" model getting the attention and upgrades it deserves!
