Custom with an UOA5 is a great choice. The unoriented mag dials down the output a little and gives a rich tone. You get an overwound PU without any of the -in-your-face qualities. Likewise, a '59/Custom hybrid with an A2 or UOA5 to add some warmth and fill in some mids.
Not sure if the WLH is vintage or medium output, but it should be higher output than a Seth.
i wouldnt call the wlh medium output, but it is a good pup. c5 is a great bridge pup in a lp. with roughcast or uoa5 its even better
