I have played one...those were made in very small numbers, are very hard to come by and cost a lot of cash but IMO they are well worth it!

 I knew the would command some serious cheese but, I might have to do it at some point in the future. High quality stuff huh?

Re: Anyone ever played one of these? Guild Crossroads doubleneck.

In my opinion Guild is one of the most overlooked names in guitars period...even their 80's stuff, which looks odd is very well made and playes/sounds great. My dad loves Guild solid bodies and favprs them dead stock, pickups and all. He has owned several over the years and currently owns 2 or 3 of them and of all his as well as all the ones I've played...not a turd in the bunch! Thats not something you can say about many other companies!

Seeing that the Crossroads was a limited edition and special order only I would expect to drop around 3k on one, maybe more but the hard part is gonna be finding one!

As much as you sleeze, I bet you would have a leed on one pretty quick for a brotha!:laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: Maybe one day I will aquire one. Hey, how did the acoustic sound, What kind of neck profiles do they have, What wood?

The body is mahogany with a maple top I belive and it has mahogany necks with rosewood fingerboards, the acoustic side has a full on Fishman set up while the electric side uses LP style wiring and a pair of Duncan Alnico II Pros. The necks on the one I played were on the slimish side...not Ibanez/Jackson wide thin but a tad smaller than 60's LP slim but very comfy.

Re: Anyone ever played one of these? Guild Crossroads doubleneck.

I know a guy who has one (or a very similar Guild, maybe a custom shop guitar). I never plugged it in but the acoustic sounded okay.
