Be sure to let us know how it goes & how it sounds once you've got it built! It'll be good to get some feedback on them from a SD bro. ;)

Wow, this is pretty old thread. Well I did end up buying a 1 pc. swamp ash body from USA, at a really good price I think it was like $130 shipped(I think they've raised their prices now).

I am pretty happy with it, although USACG IMO is the best one of these types of companies. Guitar Mill is legit though, I'm sure they would do a great job finishing a neck, but if you don't mind spending some extra cash, you can't beat USACG.

My Guitar Mill Body after I finished it and put it together

Re: Anyone heard of Guitar Mill?

that sunburst is kind of fugly...no offense....too much black. Is that how it came?

Re: Anyone heard of Guitar Mill?

I'll be getting a USACG swamp ash body back from Guitar Mill's finishing on Tuesday (aztec gold). I'll post a pic when I get it.

No offense taken. No this was just my first attempt at a sunburst, and basically my first time ever finishing a guitar.

At first I diden't really like how thick the black was either, although now I kinda like it. Just personal pref I guess.

Although for future purposes, at least I learned from it and feel I could do a thin edge of black now.

that's good for a first try...I think

I think a non-black pg would make it much less noticeable.....gold anodized?

Kinda makes me glad that you say this because, it tells me we have much differn't tastes, and maybe someone else here might actually like my tele.

This may be weird, but black is my favorite color, and I almost always prefer black over anything else guitar wise. To each his own, right?

It's funny though because my cousin and I were talking about how many are very bias(including both of us) about their instruments and think their own guitars are the shizzal, more than others do.

But, it's nice to hear some honesty and makes me wonder if others think my guitar is fugly.
