I saw it at a pawn shop today, and was wondering if anyone knew anything about it. It says "Deluxe Series 737" on the headstock. There's no other identification on it. I think it may be a Hondo, but I'm not sure. It's a bolt-on neck. The headstock is slightly larger than a LP, but it's the same shape. The body was made from several sheets of a light colored wood (some of the paint was scratched off the back) pressed together.
The fretwork was nice. The pups (may not be stock - they had covers) were pretty hot. Aside from the headstock and bolt-on neck, it looked pretty much just like a Les Paul. It was one of the better looking copies I've seen. The pawn shop owner said that it was late 60's/early 70's, but he didn't know who made it, so I'm not so sure he knew when it was made.
He wants $250 for it, but I don't think it's worth that much, unless it's some highly sought after lawsuit model. So, does anyone know what it is?
Sorry, I don't have any pictures.
