For some reason, it reminds me of the bodies of a Variax.

Definitely a quandary. To me; it most resembles a Music Man Silhouette or Steve Morse but the lower cutaway and body edge sculpting are different.

It's not what it is, but it somewhat reminds me of the old Peavey T-60 body.

I think I remember seeing ads for these in the 80s, but I can't remember what they were. But it is a cool shape that is unique, and that's a win for me.

It looks Ibanez to me? I had a friend with a similar shape silver metal flake Ibby but it had two humbuckers...

It's a Line 6 Variax model (probably a Standard) about 10 years old, built in Japan by Yamaha (not the American made James Tyler version). Someone bolted the Floyd and Kramer neck on it.

That is not a Variax body, horn shapes are wrong, forearm carve and roundover are too aggressive. Also, they had a double wide jack plate that you would see more of at this angle.

...and the three pickups aren't all slanted on the Variax.

I´ll preface this by saying I have no idea I´m afraid so all I can do is guess.

My first thought was an Aria too, but judging by the body shape, especially the horns, I also think it look like a MusicMan Silhouette with a different scratchplate.
