Cause any problems? I've had the urge to try some of the gold or blue lace sensors, but I don't want to give up my lil Screamin Demon.
Anyone mixed Duncan's and Lace Sensors?

Yeah, I did. Ran in to the old phase issue in the middle/bridge. Had to swap the black and green wires around to fix that. Otherwise, the setup was fine.
It was a Lil '59 in the bridge and I think 2 golds. Can't remember. It was back in the 90's.

I believe I had the same experience as Erik. It was just a stop-gap until I could afford to get rid of the Laces entirely. (I found them sterile, especially compared to the APS-1's, SSL-1's, Stelly and even DMZ Areas.)

In the early 90s I used an deluxe strat plus exclusively for a couple years. Replaced the red sensor with a JB about 3months after I got the guitar....worked fine with the silver and blue. I did not do the wiring, had a tech at Chuck Levins do it.
