Re: Anyone Own A Digitech Multieffects Processor and Actually Love it?
I have a couple of Digitech rack multieffects that I like. But I use them in my home studio for mixing, not in a guitar rig.
A Studio 400. I don't use it for multiple effects though. I use it on the reverb patches where all the processing power is used for reverb. There are some amazingly lush and lovely sounding rooms, halls and plates in there.
A Studio 5000. This is the intelligent pitch shifting unit. I got it because I tried a Digitech Space Station pedal at a guitar shop, loved the string swell patch, and foound out they made a rack unit that did that, and a lot more. It has amazing sounding choruses, the string swell effect, and a wide variety of other effects.
And not used much these days, but sounds really good, is a TRS-12. Some really nice reverbs in this unit too, but I usually use the Studio 400 and a couple of other higher end units, as well as a couple of really nice plug in reverbs that I got last year. The TRS-12 has a great selection of chorus, delay, etc effects too. I used to use it a lot for adding delay to leads on my home recorded tunes.
I have no complaints with any of these units. They sound great.
