If you do the do ya got some clips? There is a mint GNX3000 for $100 that I can get if I want. It might be fun just to horse around with. Then again I already own enough junk pedals and that would take up more space if it's just another junk pedal.

Theres a reason its only $100 lol

Every digitech multifx I've ever owned, from the old legend stuff to the current RSP series has all be just downright dreadful sounding.

I owned (still own actually) a Digitech RP-6 and loved it for many years. But that was only because I didn't know any better. I later replaced it for a Boss ME-50 and realized how awful the OD/distortion models were. The effects were passable though considering they're just that, special effects, and don't need to rely on them for a regular tone. And it included an EQ and volume pedal so even to this day it gets some use every once in awhile.

Those BOSS multieffects are the best I've heard. I really like the GT-8 and ME-50. Their products have a real warm sound and I love the effects.

I actually had 3 different Digi-tech multi-effects boxes and they never sounded right to me. (I bought them all at the same time at a flea mkt). I finally quit trying and traded them to my local guitar store for a Yamaha 12 string. Even the best of the bunch didn't do it. They were fun to mess with, though.
BTW...did you get the Les Paul?....inquiring minds want to know....

Does the GNX3000 do recording too? It may be worth $100 for any other features it has, but I wouldn't rely on it for any tone shaping functions.

Re: Anyone Own A Digitech Multieffects Processor and Actually Love it?

There is a hyooj difference between RP and GNX series processors. For me, Boss and the DigiTech GNX series are some of the best multi-effect processors available. If I could find an GNX3k for $100, I would snatch it up.

Re: Anyone Own A Digitech Multieffects Processor and Actually Love it?

I have a couple of Digitech rack multieffects that I like. But I use them in my home studio for mixing, not in a guitar rig.

A Studio 400. I don't use it for multiple effects though. I use it on the reverb patches where all the processing power is used for reverb. There are some amazingly lush and lovely sounding rooms, halls and plates in there.

A Studio 5000. This is the intelligent pitch shifting unit. I got it because I tried a Digitech Space Station pedal at a guitar shop, loved the string swell patch, and foound out they made a rack unit that did that, and a lot more. It has amazing sounding choruses, the string swell effect, and a wide variety of other effects.

And not used much these days, but sounds really good, is a TRS-12. Some really nice reverbs in this unit too, but I usually use the Studio 400 and a couple of other higher end units, as well as a couple of really nice plug in reverbs that I got last year. The TRS-12 has a great selection of chorus, delay, etc effects too. I used to use it a lot for adding delay to leads on my home recorded tunes.

I have no complaints with any of these units. They sound great.

Digitech it back for a refund? LOL

The best sound I've gotten from a Digitech is when some 12 gauge game load hit a broken old DSP128 when I took it to the desert.

I once had a Digitech 2112 preamp in my rack. pretty cool preamp. but everything else digitech I've ever used has sucked hard.
