It would be nice if they both are the same guitar, but I don't get why the 'G&L Tribute Series Legacy HB' is worth 500 dollars and the 'G&L USA Legacy HB' is worth 1500 dollars.
and if we check in their website there is a little difference between both specs, but again, I don't know if they mistyped the specs or ......

I don't know, the specs look fairly different to me:
1. different body wood
2. different pickups
3. different bridge saddles
4. different fretwork

That said, I have a 2010 G&L Tribute Legacy HB with a Floyd Rose that is amazing! I've never played a USA G&L, but I will say this guitar beats most Fenders I've played. The neck profile is amazing, as is the satin finish on the neck. All around, a great guitar worth much more than I paid.
