Attentuator question

So i know absolutely nothing about them. Gonna do some reading but i am just seeking some general advice on attentuators

Specifically for a 20w tube high gain head. For bedroom practice its obviously too loud. For band practice ands shows its fine.

Would like to dial in that sweet spot and not be deaf.

Re: Attentuator question

Look at the Weber Mini Mass. They make 25 watt models that will handle your amp, and cost a lot less than other people's 50 and 100 watt models.

I have a Mini Mass on my 18 Watter clone. It works well. The tone stays good down to medium levels, and loses a bit of sparkle down in the really low "kids are asleep" levels.

Hey Toast, that was a great read! Thanks. I've been using a Marshall Power Brake for years. Anyone else have any experience with one? Would be cool to compare it to a Mass.
