IMO, it's hands-down the best thinline semi-hollow that Gibson (Epi too) have ever made, and has been since they first introduced it. That's due to the fancy 345/355 binding, the 355 block inlay, the Vari-Tone, the stereo outputs (something I love, though many do not), and the lack of F holes. Just change out that ugly truss rod cover and tailpiece, deal with the headstock inlay, and you have a great guitar with tons of cool features that's sexy as hell. I hope to get my hands on one of the emerald green ones some day.
