How the guitar ended up in 1955 is actually the backstory for part 4. "Back to the Future 4 - Return of the luthiers".

Haha. I can see it now. Marty goes back in time again with a 345 so that a bunch of internet guitar geeks can discuss the fact that 345s didn't exist in 1955 starting a chain-reaction causing the entire universe to collapse on itself.

no thats not it...i downloaded that song and its has a much slower tempo... the bttf song was heavy with drums...
