I use a reasonably gritty Klon sound in parallel with an HM-2 sound from my HX Effects (Minotaur and Swedish Chainsaw models). Nothing is fully dimed except the output volume level of the HM-2. The attack and articulation of the Klon sound blends in really nicely with the almost fuzzy sustain of the HM-2. Best pairing of this kind that I've found onboard so far.
