I was really impressed with the sound of the GMX10 I played yesterday...It blew away the Marshall MG and AVT's I tried and I think with a 12" speaker would easily rival or surpass the Bandit II. No it's not tubes, but a very good simulation (sounds much better than the digital simulators to me). I dialed in classic Fender sounds, hotrodded Marshall sounds, and Classic Boogie high gain very easily. The cab simulators REALLY work well to give a big stack sound at low volumes.
They have a 2x12" 100 watter...for...get this...$279 bucks! I musta read 100 reviews last night on the net (including Guitar Player Mags) and 90% of them are very positive for sound quality. Seems to be alot of bang for the buck (I'm not concerned with the lack of adjustability on the FX), especially for home practice, casual recording and jamming with friends.
I'm off to Guitar Center today to try one as well as some other amps. But was curious if anyone had any experience with the Behringer, good or bad.
