Over the weekend I got to pick up two guitars: the Rangka I had commissioned since last year's August, and my first Ibanez in almost nine years!.
I'm not feeling the Hyperions at all. IMO, they go against what the Duncans I know and love feel and sound like, so I changed them out to a Suhr Aldrich in the bridge and the Thornbucker in the neck since I had been wanting to try those.
The Ibanez was a secondhand I got for a pretty reasonable price, with the only downside I found was that the previous owner had it set up for extremely low action (0.7mm) because he was into modern "prog" and math rock.
But hey, it's my first Ibanez in ages and I like it far, far more than the ones I've had.

The Rangka is something of a cursed child. The wood got stuck in customs, they got the color wrong initially, the CNC broke down when they did the nut shelf, so they had to cut it deeper and stack multiple shims for the nut. It had issues with its electronics when I picked it up (but not during testing lol), during which the master builder had to diagnose and fix.
But it's arguably one of the nicest guitars I've ever had, and they've made huge leaps both in materials, practices and facilities since I last visited them in 2021 (btw the prototype for this model is in the trading post)
I'm also using a Tone5 Titanium block for the Gotoh Floyd.

Here's the updated guitar collection. Not pictured is the Gibson LP since I am not putting a Gibson on its back. The Suhr is using Highwood saddles which I cannot recommend enough.
Kinda interesting how 3 of them are blue, or at least have blue hues.
