Re: Best bridge pick ups for les paul
right now I have all stock electronics and pickups on my epiphone les paul, the neck pickup seems a little to dark and bassy and needs more mid, but it's close to the tone I want, and the bridge is too bright especially since I use the clean channel a lot. I like that i can get some nice zakk wylde type squeals from it, but it has too much noise to it if you know what i mean, it gets muddy at high gain. I was thinking maybe getting the pearly gates instead of the a2p and a sh-5, also i'm going to replace my pots and capacitors. will that be better than my current set up?
