Great choice, I grew up w/this album!!!

..Though, chrisj, if you don't already have the album, I strongly advise you not to get the 2002 re-release/re-mixed edit album. ..It's not the album that people rave about!! ..Besides the bass & drums being re-recorded with new musicans, the small things that made the album so special are gone &/or lost in the new mix. ..The new mix compresses Randy's tone so the most of the sparkle and swells are gone. ..Pick-scrapes don't even sound like scrapes. ..More like a muffled rub. ..The palm-muting on the high strings are too faint in mixed & get lost, the low string muting just sounds like regular picking. ..Some of the synths are gone or replaced with new ones. ..On Crazy Train, the vibra-slap in the intro is a new dorky'er sounding one(I didn't think that could be possible) & isn't even in the same key/pitch. ..The new mix doesn't do Goodbye To Romance or Dee any justice. ..That's pretty sad & hard to screw-up songs that are mostly acoustic, but they did it, hats off to them. ..Suicide Solution lost all of it's aggression & power. ..Mr. Crowley & Revelation(Mother Earth) don't have the swelling build-up that the originals had, making them tame & album almost pointless to own. ..If you want to get the true remastered album, get the 1995 one (It has a small picture of original cover & OZZY written down the right-hand side) or even the earlier JET Records CD will be better than the 2002 CD!

..I'll list some other "must have" albums later.

Anything by Alice In Chains, Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, early Metallica (Kill 'Em All rules), Motorhead (Lemmy is the man) and Judas Priest (one of my favorite metal bands of all time).

Children of Bodom

Children of Bodom

Last night I acquired a copy of Hate Crew Deathroll. The only complaint I have is that this record is simply too short. Nine tracks of the most kick-a** metal I've heard in quite a while. Anyone into metal should check out Children of Bodom.

Seen 'em live.
All i can say is; get rid of the keyboardist, hire a decent vocalist, and then we'll see.

Those are great metalhead choices. In fact, those are two metal "must haves" IMO. You might look into a couple of other staples:

Iron Maiden: Number of the Beast
Judas Priest: Screamin' for Vengeance
Ozzy: Blizzard of Oz
Dio: Holy Diver

Yeah! Those rule!
I'd just add:
Piece of Mind by Iron Maiden
Innocence Is No Excuse by Saxon
Painkiller by Judas Priest
Peace Sells...But Who's Buying by Megadeth
