Best wood for Dimebucker

Hey Dimebucker guys help me out here. I've got one on the way, and will probably put it in a basswood Ibanez or ESP. Does anyone think alder would be a better choice?

What kind of amp are you using?

Either a peavey solid state stack, or a Behringer V-Amp (or the two combined )

I've only played the dime in an Ibanez RG (basswood) and thought it sounded great. I would think that it would sound good in either.
