I've spotted a couple of MIJ Tokai LP standards recently that seemed to be going for pretty good money... the question is does colour affect resale value on ome guitars more than others?
Lets face it, LP standards you expect in some form of sunburst or a gold top; customs in black or white, SGs some shade or reddish brown.
Obviously there are some colours, such as pink or electric yellow that are most definitely a matter of taste.
But why not a black standard, or a red custom, electric blue SG (which looks pretty sweet to me).
Is it just another case of us six stringers being far to stuck in our ways?
Or is it just me?
