Nashville bridge or ABR? There is a huge difference & I think it also depends on the year the guitar was made because Gibson did some whaky things in some years. With a Nashville bridge under normal stringing the strings hit the screws or the back of the bridge. This can cause string failure. On an ABR I have never seen the strings contact the back of the bridge. I have tried it both ways on both style bridges and honestly I don't like the way the guitar "feels" when its top wrapped. It just doesn't work for me.
