You made this?

Yeah, guilty as charged.. I have been making guitars as a living for over 25 years, but that is coming to a close, I reckon I might just do one more guitar show, and then call it quits. Know anyone that wants to buy a whole fully equipped workshop?

I needed something pure and good and righteous today - this is it!

Beautiful, as usual...

Thanks fellas,
as I am now 70 spins around the sun, I will be scaling back to the event horizon..
but thanks again for all the kind words over the many years.
You guys are ok..
I will be making a few more guitars, to get rid of some very speccy wood that I have been saving.. so a couple more before I sell off the workshop.
I have pretty much every tool for lutherie, plus a heap that I have invented.

I just dont want to leave my kids ( grown up men) the hassle of dealing with this..

But!!
If any of you guys are in Melbourne in March 2025, then I will be doing my final Melbourne Guitar Show, a weekend of true madness, would really dig to catch up with any or all of you, hey March in Melbourne is typically glorious..

Anyways, enough of my babbling,
Thanks guys..
See you all in the next cartoon

Holy cow!! I mean HOLY FRICKEN HERD OF COWS!!! Coming from the perspective of a builder myself, I am in awe of the well-executed detail of that guitar.
As Ace said, that is "something pure and good and righteous" .

From the excellent choice of woods to the well-thought-out rounding of the wood binding, this is the impeccable work of a true master (the inlay work needs no comment, nor could any do it justice).

You're only 70!?! It's NOT time yet. The world is gonna be a sad place when there are no more Crossley guitars being made.

For several years I've been trying to figure out how I could come down there, but it just can't happen. Even trying to incorporate it into a trip to see my kids in New Zealand.

Best wishes for your (final?) show. Maybe you could consider another 5-10 years? You're still young.
