What amps did he use in his first two records (Never Look Back, Plaid)? I know he used the Dirty Boy in Hairpick. On the first two it sounds like marshalls only smoother and sweeter. Any Ideas? Thanks
Didn't his dad make his amps?

What's that amp in the background in this clip?
Shnook is right, the amp in the clip is a Yamaha T-50 combo, and FWIW, those are actually great amps for the money these days...but also, FWIW, that is the only time I have ever seen Blues with one...at that time he was using Yamaha guitars and since that was playing for a Yamaha booth in that clip thay asked him to use a Yamaha amp as well.
Also, I have never heard mention of Blues using a Boogie of any kind until this thread...not saying it's not true I just never head it.
That's why it looked familliar to me... That's the series Soldano designed for yamaha.
Saraceno has always been one of those guys who makes me scratch my head and say how? Regardless of how good a player he maybe, what has he really done? He has signature guitars, amps, pedals, pickups and possibly more that I don't know about but really has no track record of album sales, ticket sales or anything else you would expect from a guy with the laundry list of endorsement deals he has.
What am I missing? What do I not know about the guy that would fill in the blanks?
Perhaps, but endorsement deals are done to sell product. How does a relatively unknown artist with no track record become such a hot commodity? I would have to think that the asking price of the endorsement has to be so low that the mfg has little or nothing to loseI think he's just really respected by other famous guys. Dimebag Darrell always used to rave about him (even had a plaid tattoo), Dweezil Zappa, Paul Gilbert....
Maybe it's just one of those deals where everybody in charge happens to dig the guy, and feel like putting his name on stuff.
It's funny, coz we're usually bitching about how the dude from Blink 182 got a signature Gibson, and now people are like, "Who the hell is this guy? Yeah, he's a smoking guitar player, but it's not like he's popular or anything!" :laugh2:I guess thats true. There are so many great artists out there that aren't "mainstream".
