bridge plate and Base plates Magnetized?

Re: bridge plate and Base plates Magnetized?

Thanks Guys for the help

Magnetic 1950's: The Glendale magnetic bridge-plate will enhanced your guitar's sound. It will become vibrant with more over tones, more definition, more acoustic, and better frequency response. Bringing out the best of the 1950's Tele sound. If you want to enhanced your guitars tone with the 1950's sound this is the bridge-plate for you. I recommend you use Alnico 3 pickups to get the 50's tone.

I'm sorry but what is a "metal mounting ring"? where can i get one please?

Re: bridge plate and Base plates Magnetized?

tele bridge pickups have a vertical magnetic field, not horizontal

Is all tele bridge pickups vertical magnetic field?

Is Humbuckers pickups Horizonal magnetic field?

Which pickups are Vertical magnetic field?

Which picukps are Horizontal magnetic field?

Is the Seymour Duncan Danelectro Lipstick pickup vertical or horizontal?

Re: bridge plate and Base plates Magnetized?

The only thing I can add here is to say that I had a C5 mounted in a traditional plastic pickguard for awhile. I then moved it to a humbucker-Tele-bridge plate. It kept the same basic "twang" factor. I then moved it again, back to a plastic pickguard. Still has the same character. If there was a difference, I didn't notice it. Thats not to say that it might change, given a little more time to magnetize the Tele bridge.

Whats a C5 mount?

A Custom 5, installed in a guitar. Great "Tele-twang" btw.
