Re: Brobucker selling rules?
You all make very fair points. Really.
Chris, I make profits selling to forum bros all the time, but this case is different. I get that.
Lucid, thank you.
Ayr, I know you're not hating on me and we're cool bro. This is a tricky topic. I won't take it to eBay, as I think it should stay in the 'family.' I'm still of the mindset that the $100 cap (even the spirit of it) should be done away with. But I'm not going to piss everyone off just to make a few bucks.
Carrot, thank you too.
Luke, I've always liked you man. But you've been pretty, umm, straightforward in this thread. I can handle it, and I'm not gonna lose any sleep tonight, but I don't think I'm as much of an ass as you might be thinking at the moment. I just need money for a car, and yeah $30 here and there adds up fast.
And if you (anybody) think I bought this pickup with the idea to sell it, well then you're an idiot. Because I'm in love with this pickup, I was in love with my 1954 Gretsch amp that I sold yesterday for $1,000, and I'm in love with the guitar I'll be selling later this week. Life happens sometimes, and I can't control that. But I can control how much money I make in the process. Like I said, I bought that amp for $200 and sold it 8 weeks later for $1,000. I don't feel bad about that. Sucks for the guy who sold it to me, but he was comfortable getting rid of it for $200. Not my problem.
That said, I don't want to piss everyone here off at once. I'm not really in the mood for that.
