Re: Bronze on Tweed
Chrome option silk screening one-off's isn't economical for this amp. No one makes one that's reasonably priced. So I use a Tweed Super/Bandmasrer/Pro chassis which has all the holes I need and then just have a faceplate cut for it. Also this chassis already fits the cut out on the 1x15, so no additional up charge to the cut out. Lacquering and baffle change are already sucky enough fees.
I am having a copper one cut this week. The black writing will stand out better. The customer wanted brown but with the white writing, it just looked wrong some how. I'm kinda limited by the stuff my local trophy shop can get.
Black with gold writing looks great on this amp.
I might have to bite the bullet and have some chassis' silk screened but I'd have to buy a lot of them.
But I hear what each of you is saying. After 10 min of playing, you really don't read the labels any longer.
