So,pretty much had decided to put my Suhr Aldrich in my Epi LP... So, I was digging it out of one of my storage cases and found some buried treasures I forgot about... So, I have options. Share your thoughts cuz I dont wanna have to swap a bunch.

I found a Rio BBQ (great pup. Too dark for lp?)
Found a Custom 8.(one of my faves)
Found a Tone Zone. (prolly too dark for lp)
Found a JB with a UOA5 mag.. ( been so long, can someone refresh my memory on the change that mag makes?)
And, I found a Genesis Sounds Mr Browney. (great pup! Just wonder how that would be in an LP?)
Plus, the Suhr Aldrich I was orig going to use.

For the neck, I thought I would order the Aldrich neck, BUT... Found some gems for the neck too

Have a Duncan APH1 n. (great pup, but will it match well with the above? And how would it sound split?) Much to my pleasant surprise, it's 4 conductor
Dimarzio Evo (In a LP??)

Share your thoughts and hopefully make my life easier... haha

Brown is not a Pickup. It is an amp. Any PAF will do.

I would go with the UOA5 JB. Had one in my Schecter for a while, in the bridge of course. Sweet toney vinatage sounding JB. The mag takes a little off the top and bottom while boosting the mids, but not to A2 territory. Just one step before crossing the border.

I'd go with the Aldrich set or possibly the UOA5 JB paired with the A2P; especially with your remarks about the guitar possibly being bright.

I had an A2P wired to a coil split briefly and though it sounded like a weak Tele rhythm pickup. Needless to say I removed the split because I never used it.
