Powered by a 1-Spot and the OEM p-supply for the TTC.

Core Equipment made the case. I bought it for $20 used, empty. I bought a piece of foam board and felt from Hobby Lobby, hot-glued the felt to the foam board, stuck it in the box, and mounted the pedals.

Re: build your own board

While pedal boards do make plenty of sense, I've got to say I must be in the minority of actually enjoying seperate pedals all on the floor/stage.

Not only do I like being able to swap pedals and their order around as the whim hits me, but I just find it far easier to operate.

I like setting up sort of a semi circle on the floor so I can stand there comfortably with my foot on the wah and not have it 4" off the ground on a riser or having to stretch over another pedal to hit something else in the back row.

I like being able to stomp a footswitch without having to worry about if my heel of my boot is on the knobs of the effect below it as well.

I like being able to pull a fuzz out, switch the chain order etc and not have issues with if it will still fit on the board or if my custom cable is too short.

Again, boards make sense I agree but I just am not a big fan and it seems I'm definatly in the minority as most everyone must have a board

Speaking of... I'm looking at LesStrats board and I'm wondering...

How on Earth do you manage to hit the phase 90 & dynacomp without mangling the TwinTube? That looks incredibly crowded...

For me, I've got well over 20 pedals... maybe even 30? I use maybe four or five at a time during a show & for recording... any pedals NOT being used are removed from the chain.

There's a fine line between tonal options & tone suckage from all those connections & short cables.
