I've seen this in a few threads recantly and I think I might buy a the Ranger from buildyourownclone.com. Just wondered what people who have used them thought. Is it much harder than wiring pickups?

technique wise, not really. the soldering practice is not much harder, its just there would be a lot more joints to solder.
