Hey guys, got a new short work in progress clip uploaded to myspace and soundclick.
I have a few projects im working on other than the Periphery album at the moment, and one of those is to write for my solo album, so this will most likely end up a Bulb track.

Dude I love this! A bit more straightforward than your normal stuff, but I still love it! Very SiKth-y, and considering they broke up, we need someone to continue the legacy!

This is good too, really dig the clean stuff at the end. That's a good ambient guitar patch. Whats the amp model on that?

Not my type of music, but the high quality, great playing and the fact that it sounds very professional makes me enjoy it anyway!

yeah more 4 seconds ago stuff is always on the way, jake and i dont work on it regularly, but it is something we are actively pursuing!

oh and btw guys, i updated it, its 5 mins long and i feel like its finished now!

Misha, the ambient tapping part in the middle is the single most gorgeous piece of music you've ever written.

What'd you use for the synths behind that, and what amp/cab/fx were you using on the POD? It sounded perfect!

aw thanks man!
actually there are no synths in this song, i wanted to put some in but by the time i had layered the guitars the way i wanted there just wasnt any space left haha.
its just reverbed guitars using the good ol jazz clean, not really sure what cab and mic, just whatever it defaults to.

Holy crap, go figure! There's so much ambiance and 'space' behind that part, I just assumed it had a soft pad behind it.

Wow, I really enjoyed that. You guitars sound huge, and the riffs are just brutal. I really dig it, as well as some of the other stuff you have on your soundclick page.

I need to visit the sound room more often... for too long I've been missing out on stuff like this.
