Re: Callaham bridges and Japanese bodies
I fitted a Callaham bridge to my 82 Tokai Strat and at first glance it seemed it would fit just fine, but on closer examination the body holes were fractionally out and caused a very slight amount of binding on the 6 pivot screws when the bridge was rocked back and forth. Fixing that could involve filling and re-drilling some of the 6 mounting-screw holes in the body, or opening up some of the holes into a slightly oval shape at the front of the bridge plate with a tiny needle file. But contact Callaham first, as has been suggested.
