Can you reccomend me a guitar?

Hello guys, i just got about $1300 as a birthday and confirmation present from my dad, and im looking for a guitar that migth suit my needs.

What im looking for, is a guitar with the same quality, tone and playabillity of a Schecter C-1 Classic, but with MOJO!

First of all, almost everybody owns a Schecter. Also, i think the looks and glam of the C-1 Classic screams "I have no class, i'm just a poor man's PRS".

I'm looking for a guitar that has the "attitude" of a old, hot rodded muscle car, something that's simple, solid and real quality, coupled with modern features.

Any suggestions?

By the way, remember that $1300 is alot of money, but it is NOT much for a guitar here in norway, it's just about the same that a schecter C-1 Classic costs.........

$1300? Well that cetainly gives you some room to move. Do you have a scale length preference?

I was looking at the Schecter site today, they have some great new axes I haven't seen yet. If you want a Schecter, buy one. Don't worry about what people will think about it. Fender has some interesting new models in the MF catologue this month.

Lol.. actually a Tele with bigsby and new pickups were excactly what i was thinking about

They have a couple in the MF catologue. The HH Jag caught my eye.

what's wrong with teles lol? my two main guitars are my "twistedcaster" tele with a hot rails and my schecter c1 XXX and they both can do very similar things but the tele has balls that even my LPs are envious of hehe. god bless the hot rails!! as for a guitar your your E...let me think a bit...what type of music do you play?

Well, the C-1 Classic is still one of my top wishes, but it looks too good! I won't be able to play it without beeing afraid of breaking it !

Plus, it has Duncans (my favourites too), neck trough construction, grovers, tone pros brigde......

Listen to this:
I got the price on all the brand parts that are in the C-1 Classic, and just the parts would cost you about $1000 here anyways!

Im browsing the Schecter site now actually, i'll post back if i see anything interesting!

i would like that guitar, obviously, but a tele with a bigsby has the 'attidude' that was asked for

Mike: I play 80's metal and rock, fusion, and some funk at the moment. My main influences are Joe Satriani, SRV, Iron Maiden and... well, i have problems thinking now anyway, i'm so darn tired .

It's important that the guitar is very well bulit, so that i can keep the guitar for atleast 10 years .

I want a guitar that sounds resonant, lively, and full. Not muddy, not thin. Just something in the middle .

A rich, full, harmonically rich lead tone that lets me play with breakup distortion, let my guitar float in the feedback... that's my favourite tone. I also need a somewhat thick chrunchy rhythm tone, and a 80's style lead tone when i play with my band .

A strat-ish clean tone is also needed .

Hmm the prices has just dropped here in Denmark.
Fra 7000kr til 5000kr ca.
Det er bare en skam at det er så dyrt at sende derop til verdens ende

If not, maybe you could do me a favour of buying one and sending it up here, for en liten penge?

Yep I'll look into it....there is probally some stupid dealings with some EU regulatives.
But anyways I have a friend who has a guitarshop, I'll ask him

Hey why don't you try to custom make a guitar VIA Warmoth or USACG! Shipping will be high but worth every penny to your specs!

BTW..there is a dude from Finland on the Warmoth site that made a Les Paul copy There are some pic there is you search.
