can't decide

Looking at several different HBs for Greco LP. The best tone I ever had was es175 with seth lovers.

I am probably only going to replace the bridge PU at this time. I have a SD little 59 i nthe bridge of a tele not real impressed with the tone.

I play blues - NOT blues rock. I want warm, clean smooth - I'll provide the nasty.

What would you recommend. I was REAL close to ordering the Stew mac golden age critters. I still might give 'em a try

thanks

Re: can't decide

Gosh...if you've owned and loved the Seth Lovers go for those again.

They sound great in LP type guitars and are very similar to what Gibson used in 50's Les Pauls.

The Pearly Gates or Alnico II Pro's are similar to the Seths but don't have covers and sound great too.

But if you already know you love the Seth Lovers go for a bridge Seth...

Re: can't decide

The problem (besides price) is I think the wide body of the 175 PLUS the Seth Lovers were perfect for each other.

I was not so sure if the SLs in a LP would move me like the 175

What are they about 99 bucks a piece
