Carvin custom shop price?

I'm severely GASing for a custom guitar right now. I've pretty much set my sights for a custom Bolt Plus, but have no idea how much it might cost...

I thought they had a virtual guitar builder on their website that showed you how much each option is. You just click on the options you want and it totals it all up for you. Have they changed that?

Be prepared for some sticker shock, though. They are not inexpensive. I'd still like to have a Holdsworth Fatboy.

Sorry. The only thing about that one that appeals to me is I've always wanted an ebony board.

I mean, I'm sure it's the bees knees and everything, I'm just not into anything that resembles shred.

^^^ That's because you're outside the States. When I lived in Oz the world site is all I could get, and it has fewer features than the USA site.

That really sucks... So if I wanted to know how much to save up, I need to either contact a dealer or ask a favor from an American and have him check on the US Carvin site?

Probably has to do with conversions and VAT type stuff.

Go to the guitar builder:Carvin.jpg

Configure the guitar.

When you get to the shopping cart there is an option to "print specs".

Print this out. If you have the ability to, print it out as a PDF.

Type/copy&paste those specs in here.

I can put in the same specs and give you the cost in USD.

So at least you'll have a ballpark idea of cost.
