Category #5 Submissions - ANY Les Paul

Let me define this category CAREFULLY - READ CLOSELY:

ANY LES PAUL MEANS -

- Single cut (usually) Les Paul style body. I use "Les Paul" style loosely As long as it is closer to an LP than a Tele. ESP EC1000's, Agiles, Cadillacs, those Ibanez gator skin things
- 22 or 24 frets
- TOM, Floyd, Bigsby, whatever
- NO specific pickup combo. expect that two buckers will be common, but again, not required
- three on a side expected - but NOT required
- ANY brand - including but not limited to Gibson

It needs to portray the "spirit" of the Les Paul. So that could be a Gibson R9, or a Hondo….A Dean Cadillac or PRS SIngle, or even a Hamer double cut….

I think despite that the guitar was about half the price of a Gibson hardcase, it qualifies if it's about portraying the spirit of Les':

Arlington, a 1997 Hamer Special FM all stock with a Duncan 59N/JBB combo in it. Also one of the last guitars out of the Hamer Arlington, Il. plant before production shifted to West Hartford, Ct. in Kaman's main building.

First run bootleg catagories 5, 6, and 7 I saw had been addressed by Ace in each of them but I'm sure that will be sillyed up, :dunno:

I respect Ace spending time running this lil deal but it seems some are not pleased. Guess he wasn't running the "whatever flavor" they wanted. :cool2:

2009 Gibson Les Paul Studio Raw Power - Stock other than I swapped out the Gibson Deluxe Tuning Pegs for a set of Vintage Schallers and the Stop Tailpiece for a Gibson TP6 Fine Tuning Tailpiece
