For some reason, Stag Mags don't seem to be all that popular. That one is starting at $30, shipped. I've had one for $35 shipped, for quite some time in the Trading Post , with no bites.
I'll probably just put it in another guitar.

I'm the one who sold it. I had it the bridge of my American Deluxe Strat for 2 years and then I put a C5 in it. I think Stag Mags are best suited for the neck position as the Alnico II magnet provides a bit less bass but it does tame the highs. I would think it would sound great in the neck of a Les Paul or a Tele.

That's also my opinion!
It soungs great at the neck position, and you have the option to use it as a real single-coil, when splitted.
I would say it's duncans pendant to diMarzios Humbucker from hell (beside its different construction)

Actually, I was! Ilike this pup at the neck. But I need to grind the magnets down flat; the A2 allows you to get close to the strings, and the stagger gets in my way.
I may disassemble one to get one mag coil and one from, say, a 59 - I'll split to the Mag coil, but hopefully get a little more "normal" humbucker sound and less string pull yet.
