Also, I found out that India also makes guitar brand names like Hobner ( rip-off of the German brand Hofner Guitars ) and Yemaha ( Yamaha ) besides the GIVSON Guitars :smack:

Are you like responding to the topic on the Indian rip-off guitars, or just adding a "by the way", because India and Indonesia are two whole different countries :laugh2:

naa, its common on US auctions - no indonesian cred cards.. the thought just crossed my mind...

interesting auction though - can you actually get these in the US, or are they made and distrubuted only in india?

And "12 frets" :D

...and the "Acoustic Cum Electric Guitar" for 3000?! I guess the high price has to be because of the "FREE COVER WITH 5 PLECTRUMS" included :laugh2:

wow.... if you read the review on the WholeNote site for the jumbo... lol.. I can't imagine a guitar made from plywood sounding as good and being as versatile as they say. Yet another cheap imitation of a decent brand.

I think you're all being a little unfair. Though the review via the second link is brilliant! I wish I had a 'toon' wood guitar with a mango finger board. Now just to decide what sort of bridge to choose... I know, Normal. That would be an ace guitar. Then I could play rock, metal, poppish stuff... maybe even Hindi Film Music, Brilliant! Oh yeah, and maybe country. Just like I always wanted.

Haha, I own both a givson and a maison!

-the maison was my first guitar. POS LP jnr copy.

-The givson is a small bodied acoustic. Also a POS.

ive seen a hohner bass not a ripoff either hobner could be ripping them off hohner is pretty good my friend had a 6 string bass by them and it was pretty good
