i was going to order a set of duncan pups for a japanese ibanez prestige model...but the company has told me that these models ain´t available for spain... :smack: (mmm that reminds me that i have to change the sig right now) so i´m going to order one jackson usa sl2h. i dunno the finish yet, but some kind of transparent color....and a dual recto.
i am going also to mod my explorer...will change the whole hardware thing to chrome...if that counts

haha i was waiting for someone to say something like that :laugh2:
i actually had this pickup in an old les paul that i unfortunately don't have anymore, but i absolutely looooovvvvveeed it through my mesa. the lows were tight, the midrange was well-defined and not honkey, and the highs were clear and not harsh. the output was high enough, and not too high.
and hell, if i don't like the way it sounds in the SG, i can always return it within 30 days :scratchch

Well..I didn't get much gear-wise at all. I needed new underwear and shirts for work more than anything
I did get some picks (wedgie? never tried 'em), and The Guitar Handbook, which I bought as a teenager and lost years ago. My mom sent me the revised version for X-mas. GREAT book..check it out if you haven't.
And I got a $100 gift card for Borders..which I'll use to buy guitar books/dvds..so I guess that counts?

I got an OLP guitar, the mint green one from MF for $99. Oh, and the Fender calendar, and the plans for a binding machine, and new filters for all my dust collectors and shop vac, so no more sanding guitar bodies with the dust flying everywhere.
And, the promise of a Martin d-28 or d-45 in 2005 when we go visit the Martin guitar factory.
