I got two Lynchbacks in my Stone Age 212C. Man, they sound good. Not bright, nor dark, very balanced. Remind me of Greenbacks with a deeper and tighter bottom, and smoother than Greenbacks. Beautifully voiced!!!!!:approve:

I compared them a bit to Splawn Smallblocks and the Lynchbacks are smoother for sure.

No ice pick or anything annoying. I think V30s are still my number one, go to speaker, but these are right there.

Finally borrowed a set of Creambacks from my friend. They remind me a lot of my Lynchbacks. So much so that I almost find them interchangable. Maybe a touch more mids and lows, but versimilar and I can EQ my amp to trick me into thinking I have the Lynch or Cream installed.

When I finally get the extension cab for my Mesa, it will be loaded with a Lynchback. If I like it enough, I may move it into the combo, and the Mesa V30 in to the extension. A Greenback and a V30 is a great combo IME.
