Coil Split 2 Humbuckers

OK, I just installed a JB and a Jazz in my PRS Santana SE. It has 1 volume & 1tone and a 3/way toggle. What I want to do is be able to slpit both pick-ups and still have the 3/way toggle operate the same (ie.. 1st pos.- bridge split,middle- both split,3rd- neck split)
There is a wiring diagram on this sight but it only shows the bridge split. I wonder could I just attach the neck red and white to the other side of a push pull switch?

I'm not completely familiar with the wiring in a PRS, but I wanted to tap more than one humbucker in my strat with just one switch and keep my 5 way toggle the way it is, like you want to keep your 3 way toggle. I havn't wired it yet, but from what I've researched and from talking to people who have done it, I think you need to have one coil tapping switch per pickup...in your case, you'll need two separate switches, one for each humbucker. Can anyone elaborate on this?

No, I don't.
It's quite simple. What you need is a DPDT push-pull pot, to replace your volume- or tonepot. Since it is DPDT, you can connect each HB to a single pair of poles. In this case you can split both HB's with just one pull at your pot. It's important that the switch is DPDT but then again, most push-pull-pots are DPDT.

...but, you can use two push/pull pots to get all four combinations in the
middle position. I have this in a schecter with jazz/jb. I can't say that the
two additional tones are a lot different, but they are different from the
"neither cut" and "both cut" tones.

that's good to know. would I be able to put something like that in my stratocaster? if so, is there one push-pull pot that allows you to connect 3 humbuckers to it?

BTW, how do you like the Jazz/JB combo in your SE? I have a Santana SE and I;m wanting to replace the pickups to a JAzz in the neck and either a SH-6 Distortion, SH-5 Custom, or SH-4 JB.

It's by far the most professional sounding instrument I've owned. With the Jazz/JB the clean sounds in the middle position are phenomenal.
The JB is the nicest pup I've heard. So yeah, I guess you could say I like it.:banana:
If you read the reviews on Harmony Central about the SE the JB/Jazz is a very popular upgrade for this guitar.

Middle position of two low/med output pickups split sounds great.
