I want to rewire one of my axes. Currently it has a bog standard "H-H/Vol/Tone" setup, Jazz in the neck and JB in the bridge.
The plan is to replace the tone pot (it's always maxed out anyway) with a two-way on-on DPDT toggle switch and connect the neck 'bucker to it so I can go between series and parallel. The bridge will remain in standard series wiring.
I'm looking at diagrams online and even the ones from Seymour Duncan don't seem to be internally consistent. Comapring the two SD ones here, the wiring for S/P looks completely different from one another - in the latter the red and white wires are even soldered together.
What am I missing here? Can anyone verify whether the third one (taken from https://guitarelectronics.com/humbucker-series-parallel/) is correct or not?
