It depends on how far off the bias is. You can lose tone and you can burn out tubes faster in more severe cases.
Also, I don't think it's good for the output transformer if you are way out of correct bias measurements.

I assumed that if the bias wasn't set properly a tube amp wouldn't function... I'll be damned lol
