I don't like how Les Pauls feel in my hands, I don't like how muddy they get, I don't.... I want it. :sad: and I have the money, its so hard to tell myself I don't need it.

You haven't played the right LP. There are quite a few permutations that you need to try before you completely give up.

Those are beautiful guitars, I'm partial to the white one!

I play a little erratically. I've seen plenty of Strats with pick marks on the upper horns so I know I'm not the only one. (Granted I don't let the pick touch the body, but my hand could hit the switch.)

Don't like a muddy LP? Then get one of these two pickup options:

Or switch to PAF style pickups. I've never played a muddy LP with PAF types in it.

That model right there, aside from it's shortcomings in the area of build quality --being a modern-day low-end Gibson--, is probably the best spec'd maple-topped Les Paul ever made IMO. P90's and chambering: two things Les Pauls should have had from the start. Sorry to disappoint, but if I was gonna suggest a Les Paul to someone who doesn't like Les Pauls, that model would be the one.

Of course, I'd prefer if you bought my amp instead with your money!

They're certainly better at being Les Pauls. And that's all they really need to do.
